Learning Support Assistant – Poole – Secondary SEN School (Flexible Hours)

Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?

A highly regarded specialist secondary school in Poole is seeking flexible and committed Learning Support Assistants to provide classroom support for students aged 14 to 18.

This welcoming and inclusive school caters for learners with a range of complex needs, including autism spectrum condition (ASC), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, and other learning difficulties.

About the Role

  • Flexible working hours with both full-time and part-time positions available

  • School hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday

  • Provide individual and small-group support across a secondary curriculum

  • Help manage behaviour positively and sensitively

  • Contribute to the wellbeing, independence, and engagement of learners with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
