Learning Support Assistant 

Location:  Northamptonshire
Contract Type: Full-time / Term Time Only
Salary: £19,000–£21,000 FTE (Actual salary dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Are you passionate about supporting young people to succeed? We are looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive SEND team at our welcoming secondary school in Northamptonshire

In this role, you will work with students across Years 7–11, providing targeted support both in and out of the classroom. You’ll be instrumental in helping pupils with a range of additional needs to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-to-one or in small groups with students with SEND

  • Provide support in lessons across a range of subjects

  • Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets

  • Contribute to the wider inclusion ethos of the school

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

  • Understands the importance of patience, empathy, and encouragement

  • Is a great communicator and team player

  • Wants to make a real difference to the lives of young people
