Learning Support Assistant

Opportunity to support students who have additional learning needs on a 1:1 and small group basis.

• Full-time Learning Support Assistant.
• September 2023 start
• Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups who have a variety of additional learning needs including dyslexia and dyspraxia.
• Earn up to £425 per week, dependent on experience.
• Small secondary school in Bolton.

The secondary school needs extra staff to guarantee identified students are supported and that teachers also have the help they require in the classroom.

Working as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be expected to incorporate inventions to aid the student’s learning and behaviour with the hopes of raising their progress and attainment. You will be assisting students on a 1:1 basis when they are withdrawn from the classroom. All work will be pre-set by the class teacher.

To be considered for this Learning Support Assistant role, you must have experience of working with individuals who have learning or behavioural needs as these skills will be highly transferrable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
