Learning Support Assistant – Full-Time (31 Hours per Week), Permanent
Location: Croxley Green, Rickmansworth
Contract Type: Term Time Only + 5 Additional/INSET Days
Hours: 31 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: H3 Point 5–6 (£24,790–£25,183) + £1,013 Fringe Allowance
Pro-Rata Actual Salary: £18,575 – £18,858.50 per annum (including fringe)
Start Date: September 2025
Teaching Personnel is supporting a successful and inclusive secondary school in the Croxley Green area with the recruitment of a Learning Support Assistant for a September 2025 start.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by providing targeted support to students with additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to deliver in-class support and tailored interventions, helping students engage fully with the curriculum and make sustained progress.
Role Overview:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of learning needs
-
Assist teaching staff in creating an inclusive and accessible classroom environment
-
Help students develop confidence, independence, and key academic skills
-
Monitor student progress and contribute to individual support plans
-
Support behaviour for learning strategies and promote a positive learning culture
Ideal Candidate:
-
Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young people
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and build positive relationships with students
-
Experience in a school or SEN setting is desirable, but not essential

Committed to helping every student reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
