Learning Support Assistant – Haydon Bridge

Are you looking for work within education in Haydon Bridge and the surrounding areas? Are you looking for work that is flexible? 

At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with successful secondary schools and colleges in the area with support staff vacancies.

This role provides the opportunity to gain first-hand experience in a school setting for future career progression into teaching or working with children and young people.

The successful candidate must:

  • Support both staff and students
  • Be able to adapt to a variety of scenarios
  • Show understanding
  • Be energetic and active
  • Level 2 qualification – minimum

Job description:

  • Flexible working available
  • Starting as soon as possible 
  • Paid £77-£95 per day
  • Starting 6th November 
  • Assisting lessons across the curriculum, supervising the delivery work across the school
  • Working with students from KS3 & KS4, ensuring the required resources and equipment needed for the lesson are effectively delivered
  • Providing assistance to the regular teaching staff within lessons, assisting with the managing the behaviour of pupils whilst the students are undergoing work within lessons
  • 1:1 & supporting small working groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
