Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Primary School

Fareham | Full-Time | Start Date: March 2026

We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Fareham from March 2026.

This full-time role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, particularly those who may require additional academic, social, or emotional support. If you are patient, proactive, and committed to helping pupils reach their full potential, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Primary LSA, you will:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support within the classroom
• Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Promote pupils’ independence, confidence, and social development
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a calm, caring, and patient approach
• Has experience working within a primary school setting (preferred)
• Understands safeguarding and inclusive practice
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is enthusiastic about supporting children’s academic and personal growth
