Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of primary schools located across Chester and Ellesmereport. We are looking for enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants who are passionate about the academic development of young students.

Responsibilities:
- Providing 1-1 or small group support to students in the classroom, helping to implement learning activities and assist with their progress
- Supporting students with specific learning needs and adapt activities to suit their requirements
- Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation
- Help the class teacher in managing behaviours, ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed
What we are looking for:
- Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of child development and different learning needs
- A relevant qualification in education or child development (e.g. level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is desirable but not essential
- Safeguarding Training (must be completed through Teaching Personnel)
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
