Are you looking for a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant (LSA) job in Cheltenham? We are seeking a dedicated, patient, and proactive TA/LSA to join our well-respected secondary school. Key Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key part in providing high-quality support to students and teachers across the school. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students

  • Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and managing the classroom

  • Supporting students with additional learning needs, helping them stay engaged and on task

  • Promoting positive behaviour and acting as a role model

  • Preparing learning materials and resources when required

  • Helping create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

  • Communicating effectively with teachers, students, and support staff

  • Maintaining professionalism and meeting the school's expectations regarding conduct and appearance

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant / LSA who has:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, caring, and supportive approach to working with young people

  • Good organisational skills and reliability

  • The ability to work as part of a team and follow teacher guidance

  • A positive attitude and a commitment to helping students succeed

  • Experience working with children or young people (desirable, not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
