Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive schools in Brent to recruit a caring and proactive Learning Support Assistant (LSA). This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting pupils with SEND, EAL, or those requiring additional academic or emotional support in the classroom.
This full-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working one-to-one or in small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and socially.

The Role:

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs
-
Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive, well-organised learning environment
-
Adapt learning activities and resources to suit individual pupil needs

Encourage social interaction, emotional regulation, and independent learning
About You:
-
Experience working in a school or education setting is desirable
-
A patient, nurturing approach and genuine enthusiasm for helping children succeed
-
Knowledge of SEND, particularly autism, ADHD, speech and language, or SEMH needs
-
Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
-
A team player, adaptable and confident supporting pupils with diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
