Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and flexible Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support a range of SEN schools in and around Andover on an ad hoc, flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working hours that suit you.

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs.

• Help create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to promote positive educational outcomes.

• Support behaviour, communication and personalised learning interventions.

• Adapt to different school settings, needs and age groups depending on daily bookings.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children or young people (school experience beneficial but not essential).

• A patient, positive and resilient attitude.

• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.

• Flexibility and reliability for ad hoc assignments.

• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through us).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
