Learning Support Assistant – SEN Schools (Ad Hoc) | Andover
£13.75 per hour | Supply / Flexible Work | Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated and flexible Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support a range of SEN schools in and around Andover on an ad hoc, flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working hours that suit you.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs.

Help create an engaging, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to promote positive educational outcomes.

Support behaviour, communication and personalised learning interventions.
-
Adapt to different school settings, needs and age groups depending on daily bookings.
What We’re Looking For
-
Experience working with children or young people (school experience beneficial but not essential).
-
A patient, positive and resilient attitude.
-
A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEND.
-
Flexibility and reliability for ad hoc assignments.
-
A DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through us).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
