Teaching Personnel are seeking patient, flexible, and dedicated Adhoc Teaching Assistants to support a specialist SEN school in the Andover area. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about helping children with additional needs succeed both academically and personally.

About the Role

As an Adhoc SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with a variety of special educational needs.

• Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive, supportive learning activities.

• Help promote pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development.

• Contribute to a safe, positive, and nurturing school environment.

• Be available for flexible, short-notice cover as required.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working with SEN children (school settings, care roles, youth work, etc.).

• Are compassionate, resilient, and motivated to support young people.

• Can work effectively as part of a team and follow teacher guidance.

• Are reliable and comfortable with adhoc working patterns.

• Hold (or are willing to obtain) a valid DBS certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
