A Primary school we work closely with in Leeds are currently looking for a Learning Mentor to start in school from November 2020 until July 2021 on a full time basis to help support children in the Key Stage 2 phase. This is a full time role and the working hours will be from 8:30am - 3:30pm. The role will be starting in the next 2-3 weeks in the month of November.
As a Learniong Mentor your role will be to work as a General Teaching Assistant for part of the week and the other side of your role will be to take groups of children out of class to provide specialist Interventions on Reading, Writing and Maths. Therefore, candidates applying for this role must have experience working academically with KS2 children in the last 12 months in a school or as a Tutor. In order to be successful at application you must also have a Level 3 minimum qualification.
There will be a requirement for a successful candidate who can work alongside teaching and support staff at our highly supportive primary school in Leeds, providing support to students across Key Stage 2.
You should expect from Teaching Personnel as your employer:
- Weekly Pay up to GBP400 (depending on experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
