Learning Mentor

Hours: 35 hours per week (8:30am to 3:30pm daily)

A fantastic opportunity has come up at a school in Stoke Gifford for a Learning Mentor to support primary aged pupils on a full-time basis. This position is due to start in September

The pupils access the national curriculum at broadly age-appropriate levels, while still receiving the specialist support they need. The school requires a learning mentor who can support students who have fallen behind due to the coronavirus. The focus will be on the core subjects; English, Maths, and Science and bridging the gap in learning created by the break in education.

We are looking for people who are either behaviour specialists such as ABA Tutors or exceptional teaching assistants who can be trained and developed and are committed to achieving high standards with all our pupils. We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic support staff to work closely with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team (including teachers, behavioural specialists and speech and language therapists).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
