A Head Teacher at a secondary school near Plymouth are looking for a learning mentor or teaching assistant who will be able to take on the role of supporting the teachers in the classroom. As well as academic support, this role will also involve supporting students who have learning difficulties on a small group and intervention basis. This teaching assistant job would be well suited to a professional who has experience supporting students at an alternative provision.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience teaching and supporting students within an educational setting
• Have a track record in building strong relationships and have great behaviour management
• Liaising with teachers over students' progress
