Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in a LE4 Primary School, this is a full-time position with an immediate start. The school is based around the thurmaston area and has been rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted.

The school can offer you a supportive, friendly and professional team together and lovely children who wish to learn. You will also be provided with a mentor who will provide feedback and training during your time at the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a brand new foundation unit alongside an enthusiastic team.

The ideal candidate will...

-Be able to provide a stimulating environment where children can progress

-Be able to work as part of a team to ensure that the well-being, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills. Also, to ensure the safety of the children in the school.

-Hold a level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification

-Be committed to make a difference to the lives of young children

-Have the ability to provide numeracy and language skills through a variety of engaging activities

-Implement safeguarding procedures to ensure the well being of children

-Plan and supervise a variety of creative and interactive activities such as music and crafts

-Have an ability to create good relationships with children and responding to individual needs quickly
