Languages Teacher
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Due to a long term cover in our client schools Languages department, they have the need for a qualified MFL teacher to join them on a temporary basis initially, though this could be extended beyond the initially term on supply.
* Full time French and Spanish post from September 2018
* Work in a well facilitated school with excellent management in place
* Smaller than average 11-16 mixed comprehensive (800 pupils on roll)
* Earn in line with your experience, paid via weekly supply initially
* Easily accessible via public transport
The school is located in the Whitefield area just off the M60 close to Bury new Road making the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale, Manchester and Preston easily commutable. The school has seen a consistent climb in results in recent years, and achievement in Mathematics is above average, particularly for the most able pupils and those with average starting points. Pupils' speaking skills are good; pupils read widely and often and can write at length about their work.
"Due to an unexpected absence in our Languages department, we're on the look for a skilled and enthusiastic Languages teacher to join us from September onwards. The timetable is predominantly French with Spanish, so a French teacher confident working at GCSE level would be ideal, though we would do our best to support an outstanding candidate if their French was Key Stage 3 and Spanish at GCSE"
If you're a MFL teacher looking to secure a position in September or would like further information on this post or similar, please reply to this email with your availability and most recent CV.
