Teaching Personnel supplies tutors to local authorities across Derby and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for staff to join our service for supply/agency work beginning immediately. For tuition, we are ideally looking for educators with a teaching/education-based qualification.

Experience that we are looking for includes working with children who are:

  • Permanently excluded, or facing a permanent exclusion
  • Struggling with mental health difficulties including anxiety and depression
  • Diagnosed with special needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, physical and medical conditions
  • Looked After Children and potentially those new to the county

Tutor pay rates are £20-25 per hour (plus you will receive an extra 12% on top of this towards your National Insurance and Pension contributions)

  • As a tutor you will plan, prepare, deliver, and assess material for students up to functional skills or GCSE level, covering both maths AND English

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
