Job Title: KS3 Tutor

Job Duties:

The KS3 Tutor will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students in Key Stage 3. Duties include planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and offering personalised assistance to help students achieve their learning goals.

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with students in Key Stage 3
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet individual student needs

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring Key Stage 3 students

Knowledge and Skills:

- In-depth understanding of the KS3 curriculum
- Proficiency in creating engaging and effective lesson plans
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to students
- Strong organisational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional certifications in teaching or tutoring
- Experience in working with students with diverse learning needs
- Knowledge of assessment methods and strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
