Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with experience in Key Stage 2? We’re currently recruiting for full-time KS2 Teaching Assistant positions in warm, welcoming primary schools across the Leyland area, starting in September 2025.
About the Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. Your role will include:

Providing one-to-one or group support to pupils

Assisting with lesson delivery and classroom activities

Encouraging progress and celebrating pupil achievements

Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements
-
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Previous experience supporting KS2 pupils in a school setting

A strong grasp of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

A positive, proactive, and child-centred attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
