Full-Time KS2 Teaching Assistant – September 2025 Start

Are you a passionate and reliable Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in Key Stage 2? We’re offering full-time opportunities in friendly and supportive primary schools across the Chorley area, starting this September 2025.
About the Role
As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside class teachers to help pupils achieve their full potential. You'll provide classroom support, encourage positive behaviour, and assist in delivering engaging learning experiences. Your role will include:

Supporting pupils in small groups or one-to-one

Helping deliver lessons and learning activities

Monitoring progress and offering tailored support

Creating a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Experience supporting children in a KS2 setting

Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

A caring, energetic, and proactive approach to supporting children
