Trainee Teaching Assistant

Flexible Work - Daily and long term roles

Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour

Setting: Mainstream Primary School

A mainstream primary school in Blackburn is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Trainee Teaching Assistants on a flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about working in education and eager to gain hands‑on experience in a school environment.

What the role involves

Supporting teaching staff with daily classroom activities.
Assisting pupils with their learning, both in groups and individually.
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
Contributing to the smooth running of the school day.

No formal qualifications are required.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Experience working with children in any non‑school setting (youth groups, sports coaching, childcare, volunteering) is beneficial.
A proactive, friendly, and reliable approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
