KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant for our school in Burnley. A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience in key stage 2.

The school is graded ‘good’ by Ofsted and has positive reviews from both parents and staff. Our school has a good reputation regarding our pupil behaviour management as well as being a warm and friendly environment. The role:

This role is for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant specifically to help support the year 4 class teacher.  The ideal candidate will be happy to undertake intervention sessions, working 1:3, 1:2 and 1:1. We expect Teaching Assistants entering our school to have knowledge on the national curriculum for KS2, specifically numeracy and literacy. There will also be opportunity to stand in for the class teacher when needed.

• Full time, Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
• Competitive rates £11.85 - £12.50 per hour.
• Temporary with a view to make the right candidate permanent.
• To start September 2023.
