KS2 Teaching Assistant

Are you a passionate and experienced KS2 Teaching assistant?

Flexible and available to cover short term positions?

Teaching Personnel currently have KS2 Teaching Assistant roles to cover for day to day and short term positions in Bude and the surrounding area. For the right candidate, the opportunity could progress into a long term role.

The Role:

• Work in conjunction with the teacher to help the pupils access the curriculum
• Supporting pupils social and emotional development whilst keeping them engaged and on task
• Building a solid working relationships with other staff
• Take on required responsibilities and helping with the day to day running of the school
• Willing to work with complex needs and challenging behaviour.

The Candidate

• Encouraging outlook and enthusiastic
• Flexible and resilient Teaching assistant who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations
• Confident working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Solid knowledge and understanding of KS2
• Experience working with ages 7-11
• Good communications skills with students and staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
