KS2 Teaching Assistant Behaviour
Over the half-term break, Teaching Personnel have been in contact with the Headteacher of a reputable mainstream Primary School located in the Outskirts of Preston. This is a smaller than average school and the Headteacher has approached Teaching Personnel to source an INSPIRATIONAL Teaching Assistant to start in school ASAP. Please see further details regarding the post below.
Hours - 8:45 - 13:30 with 30 minute lunch break. This role is FIVE DAYS per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who has experience working alongside children with complex needs and experiences supporting 'hard to reach pupils'.
In order to be considered you must have…
- Experience working alongside young children within the past 12 months.
- Minimum Level 2+ childcare relate qualification.
- An open minded and patient attitude with the ability to build positive relationships with children.
- Have a passion for delivering high quality education for each child.
- Five day availability.
This school has idyllic surroundings and serves a pleasant catchment area, behaviour is exemplary in school; however the Headteacher is always open to ideas on how they can improve the school further. The Headteacher is well respected by staff in school and has an excellent reputation in the local area.
This role is to support a child in Lower KS2 with moderate to severe learning difficulties. The child often displays challenging behaviours; therefore Team Teach training would be advantageous but not essential. The school have previously secured a Teaching Assistant for this post who has since given back word - therefore this school urgently require nothing less than a committed and open minded practitioner.
In order to be considered please contact Chloe in the Teaching Personnel Lancashire Office via telephone on 01772 842154 or email a copy of your most recent CV with your TA or Childcare related Experience. We are able to offer competitive rates of pay for these roles starting at £9 per hour; we also pay on a weekly basis directly into your bank account (no need for umbrella companies).
"I would highly recommend Teaching Personnel to anybody. I have started with them just recently and I've enjoyed my experience so much. It's such a professional company. I was cleared for work and got my first job in no time."
"I have joined Teaching Personnel in March. Within a couple of weeks i was cleared for work and I was at a school straight away. I would highly recommend. Chloe has been a huge helping hand finding me work that is suitable for me. She has always kept in touch asking how the work is going."
"Highly recommend Teaching Personnel if you're looking for a professional, friendly agency to find you work as quick as possible. After leaving my current job and worrying about work, Chloe had lined me up an interview that week for long term supply. Never looked back and really enjoy working for them!"
"I joined teaching personnel in February and they have been extremely helpful in finding me positions efficiently and getting me into work. Chloe has been exceptional with all the help and support she has given me and constantly on the ball at getting into the next school once I have finished a placement."
