A large two form entry primary school in Rochdale have a temporary position from October 2019 for a KS2 teacher to cover maternity leave until July 2020. Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of this school in Rochdale to recruit a KS2 teacher for a Year 5 class; this is a temporary full time position for the remainder of the academic year. The school serves a diverse area of Rochdale and the Head has expressed the need for an experienced KS2 teacher who can adapt and work in this environment. The school is roughly 10 minutes from Rochdale town centre via Kingsway and borders the areas of Littleborough, easily reached via the M62 and public transport routes. - KS2 teacher (year 5 class) in a Rochdale primary school - Full time maternity cover, starting in December 2019 - Initial introduction through timesheets with a view to securing contract - MPS/UPS in line with your experience and scale point - Apply now for consideration and interview prior to half term The successful applicant will be joining a dedicated key stage 2 team, fully supported by the phase leader who is also part of the leadership team. This is a 2 form entry school, you’ll have full support from the parallel Year 5 teacher and a teaching assistant within your class who is a long serving member of staff, the school has a higher than average number of pupils eligible for free school meals and those who speak English as an additional language.
