KS2 Teacher required - NQT's welcome!

 We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative  class teacher, initially based in KS2, to join our happy and supportive team. This role would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher.

The Primary School with Nursery and Forest School is a Good (OFSTED - June 2018) school based near Chertsey. Since 2015 they have been expanding from an infant school to a primary school and this is the first year that they have had a complete primary school from Reception to Year 6. They are looking for someone who wants to help on their journey to consolidate the great practice they have implemented as a growing school.

The school is newly built and has excellent facilities and resources.

They are also fortunate to have stunning grounds and have a commitment to outdoor learning and regular Forest School sessions for all year groups. 

 For the successful applicant, there will be the opportunity to work alongside a talented, friendly and supportive team who enjoy their work and strive to provide the best opportunities for the children.

 This position would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. The school have a comprehensive support package for NQTs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A Good Honours Degree.

  • A detailed knowledge of the curriculum and its means of delivery.
  • High standards of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as a team.
  • The ability to motivate both children and colleagues.
  • A willingness to support our Christian ethos.
  • An interest in outdoor learning.
  • Enthusiasm and motivation.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
