KS2 Teacher – Primary School (Autumn Term)

Location: Burnley
Pay: £120–£190 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (Autumn Term)
Start Date: September 2026

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Preston area to recruit a Key Stage 2 Teacher for a full-time position from September for the autumn term.

This role is ideal for a confident and enthusiastic KS2 teacher looking for a short-term opportunity in a well-established school with engaged pupils and a strong team ethos.

The Role:

  • Full class teacher responsibility within Key Stage 2
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with support staff and senior leadership

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Has recent experience teaching in KS2
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management and classroom organisation
  • Is adaptable, reliable, and passionate about primary education
  • ECTs are welcome to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
