Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting teachers to run catch-up tuition programmes to assist pupils with their learning this term. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the new lockdown restrictions, many pupils have missed out on valuable learning time.

With the help of the additional government funding, schools are currently in the process of putting plans into place to support pupils that most need it and reduce the risk of them falling behind.

A few our Cardiff based Primary Schools are ideally looking for qualified primary school teachers to tutor pupils of a primary age across KS2.

The successful applicant will be required to work in schools and online with up to 3-5 pupils per session.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • UK QTS or equivalent
  • Experience tutoring pupils in preparation for exams
  • Experience working with pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Experience with children with Special Educational Needs
  • A genuine passion for helping children in their learning and emotional development
  • Excellent organisational skills with a positive attitude
  • The ability to plan and prepare lessons to accommodate to a variety of learning levels

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
