Full Time ASD Teacher

Adult Learning Support

CHILD AND ADULT DBS NEEDED!!

Ages 16-18

LONDON

A school in based in London require an ASD teacher with an child and adult DBS who specialises in ASD complex learning Disorders. This is a full-time role starting immediately on a temporary to permanent position for the successful candidate.

This position will suit a candidate who has experience with SEN ASD learning support, however, transferable skills will also be considered. Candidates with a background in care, sports coaches, youth workers or those with SEN family members are also welcome.

Supporting classes of around 4-6 pupils, you will be comfortable working in a challenging environment helping those with emotional, behavioural, and educational needs. A passion to support the education of students and helping to achieve their best is paramount.

 

Necessary qualities required

Experience with secondary SEN ASD students

Any SEN or ASD support (From a professional or personal background)

Great personality

Sports, Music, or Arts oriented

Fantastic behavioural management abilities

Fun, happy and welcoming

Plenty of patience

Ability to motivate, inspire and uplift students
