KS2 Primary Teacher – Sheffield & Barnsley
Location: Sheffield & Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time / Permanent or Long-term supply

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Primary Teacher to join one of our welcoming and high-achieving partner schools in Sheffield or Barnsley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is eager to make a real impact in the classroom and inspire a love of learning in children aged 7–11.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching, excellent classroom management skills, and a commitment to helping every pupil achieve their potential. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to start your career, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and creative learning environment.
- Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching within KS2 (Year 3–6).
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine commitment to promoting the wellbeing and progress of every child.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
