Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a "GOOD" 2 form entry Roman Catholic Primary school in an effort to recruit an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Key stage 2 Teacher to start in October for the rest of the academic year.

This 2 form entry Gorton, Manchester (M18) Primary school gained the recent grade of "GOOD" in their latest OFSTED report and has said be on course to reach "OUTSTANDING".

The school has stated that they require a passionate and enthusiastic teacher that has a real desire to teach children and help them progress as much as possible.

Experience within KS2 is highly sought after, however, it is not entirely necessary as the school believe someone with the correct training, attitude and will, will be more than capable of leading the class and being an excellent class teacher. The class is a very mixed ability to class so it is key the candidate has the ability to be able to differentiate the lessons very well in order to reach out to every pupils needs.

Due the school being 2 form entries there will be collaborated planning alongside the other KS2 teachers. This will lower work load and make planning more easier as the work load will be shared and also offer the opportunity to gain ideas from another teacher.

In turn, Teaching Personnel can offer you;

  • Over 20 years experience within Educational Recruitment working in partnership with a large number of Primary, Secondary and SEN Schools.
  • Pay to scale Salary, depending on your previous experience.
  • A dedicated, specialist consultant to support you and your needs.
  • CPD opportunities including Team Teach, People Moving & Handling and NASEN
  • Full or part-time work to fit around your existing commitments.
  • A £50 reward every time you recommend a colleague/friend to work with us.

The school is looking to conduct lesson observations in the coming weeks so If this role is best suited to you and has gathered your interest then please apply now and send your CV for more information on the school and the role you can contact the Teaching Personnel Manchester South Primary Branch on 0161 242 1796.
