Pay: £120 – £232.56 per day (ECTs & FQTs welcome)

A welcoming, community‑focused primary school in the L19 area of South Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The school prides itself on:

The Role

This is a full-time KS2 teaching position, suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced Fully Qualified Teachers (FQTs).
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with KS2 curriculum requirements
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where necessary
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practice
  • Contributing to the wider school community and curriculum enrichment

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT due to qualify
  • Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum
  • Demonstrates creativity, resilience and excellent communication skills
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Has a proactive attitude and a willingness to contribute to school life
