EYFS / Reception Teacher – Speke (L24)
Start: September (temp-to-perm) — potential for an earlier start
Pay: £130–£232.56 per day (ECTs and Qualified Teachers welcome)
Are you a passionate EYFS or Reception Teacher looking for a rewarding new role from September? We are working with a warm, nurturing, and community-focused primary school in the Speke area that is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their early years team on a temp-to-perm basis.

You will be joining a dedicated EYFS team that places a strong emphasis on positive relationships, early language development, and fostering curiosity through play-based learning.
The Role
As the EYFS/Reception Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, creative and child-centred EYFS curriculum lessons.
- Create a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where children feel safe and encouraged.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure all children, including those with additional needs, make good progress.
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers to support children’s development.
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS (or is an ECT with strong placement experience).
- Has a genuine passion for Early Years education.
- Demonstrates creativity, patience, and strong behaviour management.
- Has excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child-led learning.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Can work well as part of an enthusiastic and supportive team.
