KS2 Teacher – Maternity Cover

Location: Bispham, Blackpool
Start Date: 13th April 2026 (after the Easter break)
Contract: Full-time | Maternity Cover

Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and creative KS2 Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Bispham. This role will begin after the Easter break on Monday 13th April and will run as a maternity cover for the academic year, with the potential to continue further depending on school need.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach a well-behaved, motivated KS2 class within a supportive team.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Work closely with year group colleagues and the senior leadership team to ensure consistency and high-quality provision.
  • Monitor pupil progress and maintain effective communication with parents/carers.
  • Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where pupils can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching across Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A nurturing, adaptable approach and commitment to pupil progress
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
