Key Stage 2 Teacher - Bedminster

Start Date: September Role

Salary: £450/£600 per week

The Role:

  • Inspire and lead a lively class of 30 Key Stage 2 pupils, helping them reach their full academic potential.
  • Support pupils’ growth socially and emotionally, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide attentive pastoral care and promptly identify any safeguarding concerns to ensure pupil wellbeing.
  • Prepare pupils confidently for their transition to secondary school, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge.
  • Deliver thorough and targeted SATs preparation to help pupils achieve their best results.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with parents and colleagues to support each child’s learning journey.
  • Model professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity, setting a high standard for pupils and staff alike.

The Ideal Candidate

  • A passionate educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who inspires and motivates every child to thrive.
  • Committed to unlocking each pupil’s full potential through tailored support and encouragement.
  • Experienced, ideally with some background in Early Years or Key Stage 1, and confident working across key stages.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills to effectively balance classroom and administrative demands.
  • Creative and imaginative, bringing lessons to life with enthusiasm and a great sense of humour.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills to build strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrates genuine respect and fondness for children, fostering a supportive and nurturing learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
