Job Duties:
1. Provide tailored academic support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
2. Develop individualised learning plans based on students' specific needs and learning styles.
3. Implement effective teaching strategies to enhance students' academic and social development.
4. Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
5. Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialisation in SEN education or relevant postgraduate qualification
- Additional training in specific SEN areas such as autism or dyslexia
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Work in an educational environment with SEN students (school, home, AP or local library)
- Collaborative work with parents, teachers, and education professionals
- Adherence to safeguarding and SEN policies and procedures

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
