Are you interested in working with small groups of lower ability pupils?
Are you looking to help support KS2 pupils for their end of year SATs?
Teaching personnel are working with a school in the Manchester, M14 region to recruit a KS2 intervention support teaching Assistant. The role is a permanent position to start at the beginning of the next academic year, September 2018, on a full time school based contract.
- The role pays £55 - £70 per day
- SATs support over the full year
- Working with small groups
The school has been rated "good" by Ofsted in the most previous report and is now looking to better the school and the students by offering intervention classes for pupils.
The Manchester school is looking for someone that can help out with pupils struggling with the lead up to their SATs. The role would involve supporting pupils with Reading and Maths by taking the pupils into smaller grouped classes and helping them develop these skills. The class will involve around 10 pupils from the Year 6 class. Rather than having a 6 week blitz of SATs result in the run up to SATs the school wants to offer the pupils support over the course of the academic year as they feel this will help benefit the pupils more.
Having previous experience with SATs is desirable but not entirely necessary.
If this role is suited to you and you would like to be considered for it then please apply now by sending your CV for more information you can also call the Teaching personnel Manchester Central Branch on 0161 242 1796
