KS2 Class Teacher – Tameside OL6
Full-time |January Start
Join our approachable and supportive team at Teaching Personnel, where you'll work in a local primary school in the Tameside area. We're working in partnership with nurturing schools that are looking to welcome passionate educators who want to make a lasting impact on young learners through the KS2 National Curriculum. Many of our positions offer the potential to transition from temporary to permanent – giving you the chance to find the right long-term fit while gaining valuable experience in the meantime. This role is a maternity leave position, therefore will be for 12 months on a supply basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that align with both school guidelines and the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment that supports student learning.
- Promote student well-being, encouraging positive behaviour and maintaining clear communication with fellow staff members.
- Cater to the needs and the abilities of children within the class and adapt to the changing needs throughout the day.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, outside agencies and parents to maintain professional relationships and communication.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification, with prior experience teaching across Key Stage 2.
- A proactive, flexible attitude and demonstrate confident classroom management to deliver stimulating and effective lessons.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the update service is required, or you must be willing to apply for one.
- Passionate about working with young children and making a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
