KS1 Teaching Assistant (NG6, Nottinghamshire)

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school in the NG6 area that are in need of an experienced Teaching Assistant with excellent KS1 curriculum knowledge. The successful candidate would need to be confident in delivering 1:1 sessions with children and working with small groups.
You would also need to be comfortable and knowledgeable of KS1 Phonics; the school has a strong focus around Phonics due to the high number of children who have English as a second language. The school is very culturally diverse with a wide range of different ethnical backgrounds.

This is a school which have recently received 'Good' Ofsted, however are looking to consolidate excellent grading to move towards an 'Outstanding' school by the time of their next inspection.
The School values creating a engaging environment for the children to build a resilience to learning, encouraging them pupils to challenge themselves.

A successful candidate should have:


Knowledge of the current school curriculum (Preferable)

Enhanced DBS on the online update service.

Right to work in the UK.

At least 2 relevant references that would we could approach straight away.

Flexible and easily adapt to different situations.

Relevant experience working with children
