KS1 Teaching Assistant

Do you have previous experience as a teaching assistant? Are you looking to build on your previous experience and work in a school with opportunities to progress and make a real difference? If this sounds like your calling then we would love to hear from you.

A Rochdale based school are looking for a TA to assist with the KS1 curriculum from September 2019. The role will involve working alongside the class teacher in all areas of the school day. The school has a good behaviour record amongst its pupils so an individual who can engage with the students in a fun but firm way will be ideal.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of a Level 2 qualification
  • Prior experience working with KS1 pupils
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Academically confident & versatile
  • Ability to be creative with learning
  • Passionate, Empathetic & Hard working
  • Have a real passion and desire for education
