Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Full-Time General Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Wakefield area, working with Key Stage 1 (KS1) students.
Position: Full-Time General Teaching Assistant (KS1)
Location: Wakefield, WF12
Contract Type: Flexible – Part-time or Full-time
Start Date: October
Pay: £77-90 per day
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons for KS1 students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students who may require additional help, and contributing to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Your dedication and support will play a crucial role in helping students to achieve their full potential academically and socially.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with young children is advantageous, but not essential. Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and staff.
- A genuine passion for helping children succeed in their educational journey and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable, but not essential.
- Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist with this if needed).
