KS1 Teaching Assistant – Fleetwood (FY7)
Start Date: 13th April 2026
Contract: Until the end of the summer term (with the potential to go permanent)

Are you an enthusiastic and nurturing Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive Primary School? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming Primary School in Fleetwood who are seeking a dedicated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in Year 1 and Year 2, helping them to develop their confidence, independence, and love of learning. The role will run until the end of the summer term, with a strong possibility of becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Supporting pupils across KS1, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting the class teacher with daily classroom tasks and learning activities
- Helping to create a positive, stimulating learning environment
- Supporting children with phonics, early literacy and numeracy
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school’s values
We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children (school-based experience highly desirable)
- A patient, proactive, and caring approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Availability to start immediately

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
