A vibrant and thriving primary school in Wimbledon, recently rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted, is delighted to announce an opening for a dedicated and innovative KS1 Classroom Teacher to join our permanent staff from September 2024. Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
*Assess and record children’s progress, preparing them for the transition to Key Stage 2.
*Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes respect and inclusivity.
*Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and a cohesive curriculum.
*Engage with parents and guardians to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
*Participate in school events and activities beyond the classroom.
Requirements for the Role:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Proven experience teaching at KS1 or a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
*A passion for teaching and commitment to enhancing educational practice.
*Excellent classroom management skills.
*Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
*A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
*Experience in and enthusiasm for using technology to enhance learning.
