KS1 Primary Teacher with SEN Experience – Hartlepool
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hartlepool is seeking a passionate and experienced KS1 Teacher with a strong background in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to join their team.

Position: Full-time KS1 Teacher (with SEN focus)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:

Full classroom responsibility within Key Stage 1

Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, including EHCPs and additional learning plans

Working closely with the SENDCo, teaching assistants, and external agencies
-
Delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners
-
Creating a nurturing, structured classroom environment to support social and academic progress
What We’re Looking For:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Recent experience teaching in KS1
-
A good understanding of a range of SEN strategies and interventions
-
A caring, patient, and resilient approach
-
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
This role would suit either an experienced SEN teacher or a KS1 teacher with a passion and drive to work more closely with children with additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
