KS1 Primary Teacher Needed – Hartlepool
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 (KS1) Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced school in Hartlepool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed educator to make a real difference in pupils’ early learning and development.
About the Role:
Position: KS1 Class Teacher
Location: Hartlepool
Contract: Full-time, ongoing (potential for long-term or permanent)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, term-time only
You will be responsible for delivering engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons to KS1 pupils, supporting their academic progress and personal development in a nurturing environment.
Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities
-
Foster a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
-
Assess and track pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ learning journey
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
-
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1
-
Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics frameworks
-
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

A passion for early education and a commitment to pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
