KS1 Teacher – Full Time – Salisbury
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Long-term, Full Time
Pay: Paid to scale (M1–M6)

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Salisbury to recruit a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher for a long-term position starting in January 2026.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to join a supportive school community. You will be responsible for a KS1 class, delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the National Curriculum.

The role is full time and includes all class teacher responsibilities such as planning, preparation, assessment, and marking, therefore you will be paid to scale (M1–M6) in line with experience and qualifications.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent teaching experience within KS1
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management and an engaging teaching style
  • Be committed to maintaining high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour

 Recruitment Process

All educators will be initially vetted through Teaching Personnel, which includes:

  • An informal interview with a Teaching Personnel consultant
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
  • Completion of safeguarding and vetting checks
  • Safeguarding and Prevent training (provided if required)
  • Provide two solid references
  • Have documents that align with our vetting process (right to work, proof of address)

Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to the school for an interview, which may also include a lesson observation.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
