KS1 phase leader

Are you an experienced KS1 teacher/phase leader looking for a new challenge in September?

We are currently looking for a KS1 phase leader and class teacher to start a full time role in September. This will include working closely with the other members of staff to plan, create and prepare all classroom activities. You will be taking a lead in ensuring the standards of education are high and creating a strong workforce to support the KS1 classes.

The role will involve creating and supporting all activities, ensuring all members of staff are offered support through their PPA periods and any concerns.

This school is a two form entry school with a variety of different students, emphasising the importance of social inclusion and respect. Development and support are key features of the schools ethos, encouraging the children to become active and engage with the curriculum.

A variety of needs are catered for through the schools facilities, SEN provisions have been formed to ensure the best possible support to every child. There are focuses on cognition and learning, communication and interaction skills, social mental and emotional health and sensory/physical support.

The ideal candidate:

• Experienced within KS1 classes
• An excellent understanding of the KS1 curriculum
• Passionate and energetic
• A valid DBS that is registered with the update service, or willing to complete an application.
• Positive staff management
