KS1 Teacher Required

School and Role Details A larger than average, mainstream Primary School, based in the Golborne area of Wigan (WA3), is currently looking for a Primary Teacher to join their already successful and supportive team. The school allows teachers to offer creative and explorative elements to their lessons and teaching practices. Pupils' achievement and student behaviour are both good and improving. The schools aim is to be a place of excellence and help their learners to achieve their best - socially, personally and academically.
This role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers. As a school, it prides itself on the support it provides for both staff and pupils, ensuring that all are provided with the skills in order to allow them to succeed. It has previously been graded as 'Good' by Ofsted and pupils at the school feel safe and are able to enjoy their learning, enjoying coming to school showing real enthusiasm within the classroom.
Requirements:
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS)
- Relevant KS1 teaching experience
- High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
- The ability to work effectively in a team of teachers, support staff and outside agencies
