We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Drayton seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team this September. About the Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
- Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and emotional well-being.
- Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and adapt teaching to meet pupil needs.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the wider school life, including planning, staff meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
✅ Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome.
- Experience teaching in KS1 (or a strong KS2 teacher looking to transition).
- Thorough understanding of the phonics curriculum (e.g. Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle).
- Creative, reflective, and passionate about early education.
- Committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
