We’re working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Drayton seeking an enthusiastic KS1 Class Teacher to join their dedicated team this September. Whether you’re an ECT or an experienced teacher, if you bring energy, creativity, and a child-centered approach—this could be the perfect fit for you!

About the Role:

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
  • Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and emotional well-being.
  • Use effective assessment strategies to track progress and adapt teaching to meet pupil needs.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider school life, including planning, staff meetings, and extra-curricular activities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome.
  • Experience teaching in KS1 (or a strong KS2 teacher looking to transition).
  • Thorough understanding of the phonics curriculum (e.g. Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle).
  • Creative, reflective, and passionate about early education.
  • Committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
