KS1 and KS2 Teaching Assistants required for November
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Over the past 12 months, Teaching Personnel have seen an increase in schools requiring SEN experienced teaching assistants to work with small groups and individual children who are in need of additional support in Chorley. These needs vary from children with Autism, ADHD and Social Emotional & Mental Health issues. The type of support these children require varies from 1:1 to 1:2 and small grouped work. We are in demand of staff who have experience and who are qualified at either Level 2 or above/degree level. If you are from a care support background, or you have only had experience in residential care then you still have transferable skills which can be utilised effectively in Primary mainstream settings. If you have experience as a general Teaching Assistant working with children with challenging behaviour we want to hear from you!
Further to the information above; there are children in the PR7 area who require support on a full and part time basis. Some of these children have SEN statements and Education Care plans and as a result of this, funding is available to support the child for an amount of time. We also support children who are from Traveller backgrounds and 'Looked After Children' as well- These roles can be massively rewarding and look fantastic on your CV.
Please contact me if you would like to find out more information on what how we are supporting children with SEN across the Lancashire area and how you can impact on this. Roles of this nature vary from £8.42-£10.50 per hour.
Contact me on 01772 842155 or email me at , if you know of any friends or family members who would be suited to roles of this nature please pass on my details.
